The Community R-6 softball team’s overall record was 4-14. Their four wins were over Marion County, Wright City, and Montgomery City two times. They started out on a good note by winning their first game of the season 9-8 against Marion County. Senior Paige Curtis pitched all 7 innings, striking out 11 and walking one, while senior Paige Harris went 3 for 4 with three RBI’s and a homerun. But then, they struggled down the stretch losing 6 in a row. They eventually snapped their 6-game losing streak with a win against Montgomery City 19-1 on September 18. That same night, they also tied the state record for the second most walks in a single inning, picking up 15 runs in the first inning alone.

When the EMO Conference came around on September 29, the Lady Trojans weren't so lucky. They were shut out in the first game against North Callaway only getting two hits. Later on in the day, they fell to Van-Far in the consolation game 8-2.

The Class 1 District 8 softball tournament began on October 3 to end the season. The tournament put the Lady Trojans, the 7th seed, up against Sturgeon, the 2nd seed. The Lady Trojans' season came to an end in an 11-1 loss in just 5 innings. Curtis pitched all 5 innings allowing eight hits, but striking out six.

Harris and Curtis both made second team All Conference and Harris made the All District team.
