Mrs. Rebecca McCurdy

Mrs. McCurdy began teaching high school Math at Community R-VI in 2007. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri and William Woods University. Teaching was never one of her dream careers when she was a kid... Mrs. McCurdy wasn’t sure what she wanted to be, but she knew she didn't want to teach! While she was in college, she began to think that maybe she would teach agriculture, but she decided that it wasn't what she really wanted to do either. It wasn't until her second child was born that she really decided that teaching was for her. Now, she wouldn't want to do anything else!

When Mrs. McCurdy is not teaching, she enjoys golfing, reading, watching college sports, and spending time with her family and friends. On just about any nice summer day, you can find Mrs. McCurdy and her kids  at the golf course or in the swimming pool. Adam is becoming quite the golfer and Amy is starting to learn!
