Mrs. Darla Deimeke

This is Mrs. Deimeke’s fourth year teaching Art at Community R-VI. Before that, she was a substitute teacher for many years while she was a stay-at-home mom. She has an Associate’s Degree in General Education, a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Education.

Mrs. Deimeke’s senior year of high school was when she knew she wanted to be an Art Teacher.  She was a graduate of Community R-6, as was her mother, who was from the first graduating class of this school. She and her husband were high school sweethearts at Community, and wanted to raise their children, Josh, Nicki, Ben, and Clint here. Now she looks forward to her grandchildren attending CHS in the future.

Mrs. Deimeke also enjoys gardening, designing, reading, sewing, and working on her hobby farm. She also enjoys spending time with her family.
